Sovereign Announces Green Building Intiative

How is Sovereign "different" from other good builders?

Builders make literally hundreds of decisions as they decide how to build a new home (building methods) and what specific products to use (building materials).  We hope you will take time to learn how we make decisions.  Ask us why we use steel-reinforced block basement walls; styrofoam exterior sheathing; Tuff-N-Dri basement waterproofing; and have a Construction Superintendent dedicated to insuring our framing is second to none.

It all adds up to what we call a 'Customer Focused' way of doing business.  We think you will notice the difference.

NOTED BELOW ARE SOME IMPORTANT SOVEREIGN 'DIFFERENCES'!

#1.  Only Sovereign uses Dow insulated sheathing AND Tyvek whole house wrap on all homes.

Ask any expert of building methods how important it is to keep a homes wall cavities from collecting moisture.  Then ask the same expert how best to do so.  They might suggest keeping the cavities warmer (to reduce condensation) and keeping cold air from infiltrating the space.  Only Sovereign uses both systems (Dow blue insulated sheathing to save energy costs and prevent moisture build-up in the stud cavities) and Tyvek whole house wrap (to prevent air infiltration).

Each building method is helpful in reducing the potential for mold in new homes.  Used together they represent the state of the art in 'customer focused' building methods.

#2.   Our President, Ted Uritus, is there for your final quality walk through.

Perhaps nothing separates us....or a better term might be distinguishes us....from the mass production builders than this simple "standard feature". Ted's being there is a perfect symbol of the difference you will feel when choosing us to build your new home.  The mass production builders want to give this level of attention...but they just cannot match what we do.

#3.    Our structural warranty is backed by a third party.

All new homebuyers deserve the peace of mind and protection of a written structural warranty for their home. While most builders structural warranties are similar in coverage, ours is different in one major attribute: it is insured. No quality builder plans to let his homebuyer down if there are structural issues years after the home is built. But what if the builder is not around? Or not capable financially to deal with the problem? Sovereign Homes provides a guarantee through RWC Corporation to give each homebuyer the added assurance that promises will be met, regardless of the builders circumstances. We feel you deserve no less.

#4.    We can guarantee your energy bills for the first year in your new home will be lower than with any other builder.  Guarantee

How can we be so sure?   Well, first if the other builder you are considering does not build his homes such that they qualify for the federal energy efficient home tax credit, we have a major advantage.  And then, if the builder does not use that tax credit as Sovereign does (stop by any model for the great details) then it is not a fair contest.   Not a marketing 'gimmick'.   It is all based upon how we build homes.
